HI I HAVE A 2008 BMW 328XI AND I FOUND THIS PART WHEN I OPEN MY HOOD WHAT IS THIS PART CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THIS IS AND IF IT IS A SENSOR WHAT KIND IS IT WHAT DOES IT SENCE

That's clearly a BMW brand remote detonator. I would check over the rest of the car when you get a chance. Good luck.

Its a sensor, but I dont have one of these on my car so I cant help any further.

or simply punch the part number on google or realoem.com and you'll get a straight forward answer.

Looks like that part by the ECU that screws on near the long part where the cabin filter is housed. Should be plugged in to a wire on one end...
Watch a video of the JB3 install, you should see the guy twist it then pull it off if I remember. |

I think i can make out the letters "7 LED" and i also count what look like 7 leds.
I'm guessing it's the light housing for the license plate LEDs or maybe it somehow fits into the door handles? Idk, OP, you need to either take better pics (and change your font) or type out what's written on the part. |
