If you don't have a psu Ista-p won't continue.
Why is it dangerous?

Are you referring to power issues?

ISTA-P checks power before running a measure plan or doing anything with any module. If voltage is too low it won't continue. Winkfp does not have this feature. It will try to flash and if voltage drops so be it lol.

Icom is a complex device. A simple obd cable isn't.
You definitely need to keep the voltage stable if you don't do this you increase the change of breaking a module.
A module has never failed with my setup.
There is a reason why Ista-p checks the voltage.
