Dealers can't code my 07 335i

what's up y'all! So I am the 2nd owner of my 07 335i. Love this car but the guy before me screwed up the Logic 7 system. I purchased a used Rad2 BMW Professional stereo and a used logic 7 amp. Cleaned up wiring and MOST bus and everything works great. All 13 speakers, Aux In, CD player, radio, Bluetooth, Voice commands etc.... However no dealership has been able to code my vehicle for me. I'm way past warranty with 130,058 miles. I've read just about every manual for the media entertainment system on the E92 and I cannot find a reason why. My theory is that the radio is VIN specific and I need to correct this in my cars module list. That is just my guess. Please don't reply if your going to tell me this has been discussed here before and I'm a toolbox for not finding it in the 7 trillion posts. Any help would be awesome.

Dealers cannot code your car as the radio or amp may be incompatible with your car as per their computer.
For example stereo from 2011 car should not be in 2008 car and dealer's equipment will check the compatible part numbers before.
I am not sure what you want to code as ncs may help.

I want to update the chime to the gong. I would like to apply the HPFP update that prevented my registration from being done.

UP !!

Does that mean that you can not code a second hand HU?
I was about to swap from business radio to professional radio for a friend and to code it to hifi. Are you sure it's not possible? Sound very strange...

If you're still stuck use INPA to print uid and post here. You'll see all your modules with vin.

Check on the back of the unit if it's using MOST. If yes then code using MOST if not code using Icom.
You can do it with winkfp like I said.
First show the screen of INPA where are the modules are displayed inc. their vin.

Then code throught MOST using ista-p or winkfp and you're done.
I strongly suggest to do it with an Icom.

Well I'm going from business radio (not MOST) to pro radio (not MOST).

Using NCSExpert radio is not reachable via MOST obviously but under "normal radio".

Does that mean I will not be able to code it to HIFI?

As far as I know, MOST is required for HiFi. My car has HiFi and the amp is in the trunk. The speakers wire to the amp and not the deck. The deck streams audio over MOST to the amp.

You CAN code a non-MOST radio. NCS expert using the V.O,; dealer using the "Conversions" path in ISTA/P.

HiFi is an analog system, @SCrippy, you have TOPHiFi.

Your right on both accounts, I just couldn't remove my post. I realized like 2 seconds after writing that. I'm waiting on a cable to update my VO through ISTA. My stereo is used and I need to match it to my FRM options to get rid of SOS error and mirror errors.

Using anything else iso an Icom icm Ista-p is dangerous.
If you don't have a psu Ista-p won't continue.
