Correct Offset for 120i Cabrio

Hi,

Sorry if there's already a post on the captioned topic, but i've gone through most of the threads and many configurations are being mentioned, so I would like to start off with a new thread to find out the correct configurations.

Can someone please tell me what is the correct offset for 120i cabrio? Currently, i'm on 18" x 8" offset 35 (tire: 225/40/18) and the front sticks out a bit... i'll also be installing kw v1 so I want to maximize the coilover by lowering the car as much as possible but avoiding the wheels to scrub...

Any feedback and comments will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I think the "maximum" wheel/tire/offset mix that can be run without making changes to the front camber is as follows.

Front: 8", 45 offset, 225 tire
Rear: 9", 48 offset, 255 tire

That's just what I've gathered from browsing this site so it very well may be off some.

Unfortunately, it's not as simple as that. If you change the width of the wheels, you'll likely have to change the offset too, and you also have to factor in a tire width change. If you search this forum, you'll find a lot of info about wheel/offset/tire combos that people have that work.
