love the Silverstone and Sakhir leather. but for durability...I don't mind the cloth option either.

That being said, if you like the full leather, go for it. Those cars are meant to be induldged Last edited by CanAutM3; 04-02-2014 at 08:14 PM.. |

Yes full leather looks nice, but not for $3.6K and I'd much prefer not to burn myself in the summer and turning on the asswarmer first thing after getting in the car come winter. Cloth for me.
Edit: I guess the comment is relevant to all leather seating surfaces, not extended vs. full. I am glad they finally offer cloth seats in the M3. Leather on the dash is one of the hardest areas to maintain, the other being side bolsters of the seat. Last edited by KevN27; 04-02-2014 at 06:08 PM.. |

I'm thinking Full @$2650.
After living with a regular F30 for over a year, the plastic on the glovebox area is really annoying, stands out, and cheap looking. I would find it hard to spend $70K+ on a car and stare at the huge swath of cheapo-plastic every. Plus, the leather dash is gonna be incredible, especially with contrast stitching. |

Let's start a petition to remove the ridiculous exec. package.. Not many people seem to be happy about it, so why not boycott it?
The only thing I care about in that entire package is CA and possibly HUD. They added those two options with bunch of other things that most people don't care for

Extended, have it in the 335 now. I've seen full in a friends X5M and it looks great no doubt. But not for $2500. And certainly no Exec Pack, BMW messed up forcing options on people in my opinion.
Give me DCT, Silver 19's, maybe LEDs, and the Harmon Kardon and I'm ready to go. Last edited by BMV///M3; 05-02-2014 at 02:48 PM.. Reason: Proofing |

As for the EXEC pack, for you; 100% agree. Couldn't even imagine how cold it gets in Minny. I'm a Cali guy here so no need for heated wheel, ha. The only things I really want are the back up sensor and comfort access, the rest I can definitely pass on so thats where I have a problem with the bundle. Not worth it, in my case. But for you it makes sense. I'm curious if BMW will make the back up camera standard soon since that law is coming into affect. |

full versus extended leather- first world problems :)
First post here...
Ordered M3 MG with SO interior. I originally just went with extended leather as part of the executive package. I thought the full leather wasn't worth it. Now I'm not so sure after looking at some new pics. It seems like it might be a big difference visually and to the touch. It also looks a lot softer and I really like the contrast stitching with SO. Thoughts? It's only another $2600... |

Worth it... an interior option that sets it apart from the standard 3/4 series. And contrast stitching is the nuts.
Edit... I'm full of photos tonight... standard dash with that shit texture I can't stand looking at anymore. Last edited by Wah; 06-08-2014 at 09:18 PM.. |

IMHO, it's worth it. But I like leather. I would have liked this option in the E92 M3. YMMV. It's a preference. Some really prefer the cloth seats. They are arguably sportier. Especially with 6MT. One option not available (except maybe with Individual program, IDK) is a black alcantara ceiling liner. This is gorgeous and I'd love to have this. Cheers.

yeah, I really should have put a smilie or something to denote the sarcasm involved with the "only $2600".
The more I look at it, though I do think the contrast stitching is the tits. Is the contrast stitching standard or some kind of additional option on top of full leather? |
