Talking M-tech (M3 style) front bumper e92 from JLeviSW

Just got my M-tech (M3 style) front bumper for the e92 in from JLeviSW today. I'm gonna take it in to get painted on tomorrow. Here are some pictures i took of the packaging and the bumper. The bumper had some scratches on the front middle when I took it out of the box, but they should get covered by the paint anyway.

I haven't checked fitment yet. I'll post some more pics when I get it back from the body shop and get it put on.

4 hours? Are you joking? The bumper has about 10 screws under it, 2 in each fender well, and 4 above the kidney grills. This is a 30 minute job at most. I have done it a ton of times.

How much are they charging you for paint?

I seriously think you need to do a test fit first. This is pretty mandatory for ANY aftermarket product.

Im sure it's fine, but how pissed would you be if you find out it doesn't fit AFTER you pay to get it painted?

I have been waiting for someone to buy this bumper. I would highly suggest test fitting before investing in a coat of paint! Definitely inquire about those scratches being able to be unnoticed after the paint.

Please update with pics when you can!

The fitment should be spot on as evidenced recently by these pics. But always test fit before painting

Those are just minor surface scratches that occurred during shipping.

The prep work/primer and final paint coats will take care of them.

It's in development but not released just yet. We should have rear and skirts available soon as a full kit just like for the pre-LCI E90.

9 under, 4 on top, and a crapload in the fender well...

I think it's 31 total

But still should only be 20 min to get it off.... I just did it this weekend

I'm looking forward to seeing painted/installed pics! This will determine whether I get this bumper or Mtech.

So I just went to Service King to pick up my car and bumper (they took out a door ding and scratch for me too) and the steering wheel lock error came up for me for the second time and I can't even drive it out. On the bright side, the bumper is all painted and looks fantastic. I'll post some pics when I get the car back from BMW. Here is the whole story of what happened. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...61#post8167761
