New diffuser under development

Hi All

Just wanted to give a bit of an update - I'm developing a new CF diffuser for the M-Tech / M-Sport rear. The design will be something along the lines of the 3F M3 diffuser (see attached pic).

We currently have the pattern made for the standard diffuser and are working on modifying the mould to the new design. The modified mould should be ready in the next couple days - I'll post update pics soon.

The initial design will be for a standard e90 335 exhaust but we will bring out a quad design soon afterwards! And will also develop a similar design for the e92/93 crowd as well...

Thoughts / Comments?

I'm not officially a sponsor on the forum just yet so I can't talk pricing and stuff - and we are still finalising the details anyway...

Yup - will have you guys covered too

First the e90 335 - then the e90 330 and lower - single dual pipe opening on the left hand side. Then the same for the e92. So it might be a bit of a wait, but I'll get there.

If all goes well you could probably expect a e92 single opening one around the end of first quarter 2011. Sorry for the wait... Only have 1 guy at the moment doing the development and moulding work. Once we have the patterns made up for the standard diffusers though - I should be able to develop the modified versions quite quickly...

THAT looks freakin' sweet. If you make that for the E92 at a reasonable price, I would definitely buy.

+1 on the e92. For once it would be nice to see a part for the e92 first and make those sedan guys wait. IMHO

Sorry man - looking for a development car for the e92 at the moment. As soon as I get a volunteer and as soon as the e90 is done the e92 will be coming...

If I had a e92 to start with I would have gone that way - just the way things worked out I suppose...

I agree! That one is for the M3 - but I'm sure our finished product will look just as good
