Hmm. I didn't know Ltbmw makes an intake for the 3 series. Do you know what it looks like?

BTW, it's LTMW now - and if he has an intake (I've never seen or heard of one) - your best bet is to contact them, as all of their stuff is custom & sold only by them...

I Thought that that was what you were looking for. I think that guy has an AFE intake(not sure which one) with an ltbmw custom intake housing.

Another vote for OEM Euro Airbox with either K&N or Pipercross filter.

You can't go wrong with OEM - The Euro airbox is PnP with your original airbox, uses a round style filter that has more filtration area than the flat panel filters, does not have the integral charcoal filter to restrict flow, has a 1piece bottom housing with lid so changing out filters is super EZ by just removing the lid - no need to have to tear the entire filter housing out of the car, unbolt the halves to replace the filter.

If you like a carbon fiber lid - there is an aftermarket CF lid for the Euro.

I have the Euro on my 328iX - don't expect to notice any real performance gains with the Euro, or any other intake system - I did it for the increased flow & EZ filter change...

And if you're one of those people that are buying an intake for increased noise (the hey, wow, look at me feature) - the Euro is not gonna make much more noise than your original

Here's an example of Euro FS here on the forum, You can also get these new from ECSTuning (forum vendor):

yeah i'm not looking for that noise factor i just like how clean it looks and iv'e heard there pretty good just wanted some more peoples opinion about the air box. sounds like all in all a good air box. its much more appealing than the stock one that's for sure an i live out here in the desert so changing filters would be a bitch for me.
don't happen to know places that have the cf lid by chance do you bud??

E92-Lighting (forum sponsor) has the Carbon8 CF overlays for around $169 for the lid & the upper snorkel (allthough I ditched the snorkel overlay & went with OEM snorkel wrapped/cleared in real CF)

http://www.e92-lighting.com/bmw-acce...ake-cover-n52/

I have that version & used only the lid overlay (attaches with 3M double side tape) It actually fits very well

I'm gonna be swapping that out though as I got a Euro Performance CF Upper Snorkel & Plain Lid that I will be installing as soon as weather breaks. The upper snorkel is exact same as US BMW Performance Intake, and the lid looks exactly like US version, but works on Euro. Since the CF is OEM I'm guessing it will fair better (all though my wrapped/cleared CF snorkel still looks as new)

Unfortunately, you can't buy these pieces separately from BMW (I just happened on a member selling only those parts) & the Performance snorkel will not work with a standard Euro Lid, nor will the Euro Performance Lid work with std. upper snorkel...

Schmeidmann sells the overlays listed above also.

Or you could just wrap all in 3M CF Dinoc for that dry CF look

Not my car, but here's what my new setup will look like with CF Lower/Upper Snorkel & Euro Performance Lid on Euro Intake:

That's my friend Route 16's car in the video, he has a Gruppe M intake which is no longer in production.
