how do you pass emissions with a jb4 with catless downpipes? I keep getting the 'service engine soon' light to come on once drive about 50 miles after reseting it.

Well judging by the fact that you said "downpipes," and the car you have listed, I assume you have an N54. If I'm correct, then you've posted this in the wrong section.

Also - if I am correct - you're in luck. BMS makes a downpipe fix for the N54. We N55 guys are not so lucky.

DP Fix is no longer available through BMS directly. I believe there's another company selling them now.

OP, post in the N54 section for best answers. But just

before posting.

You take them off then put them back on.

As i mentioned altough CObb say you cannot pass emission with with Catless downpipes, i personally know a few guys in Vegas who were able to pass smog test with cobb only.
They we are n54.
