Is the mtech rear bumper mounted directly to the car or are additional mounts or anything needed to install it?

I'm weird. I'm not trying to look like an M3, but I love the look on a E90, BUT only with a Vor lip. Just the M3 alone and no lip? I don't like it.

So, while I'm trying to decide as well, my options are either Mtech or M3 with lip. Decisions, decisions......

IMO replica parts dont fit as well as the real deal. I am pretty sure there are issues with splitters and brake ducts on some models as well.

If you're LCI go with the M-tech. I opted for the M3 bumper because I didn't like the pre-lci mtech, and the lci mtech needed a lot of components to be able to fit it to my pre-lci e90.

I agree about the M3 rep, it definitely needs a lip. I spotted an H-style on ebay that I'll hopefully score before springtime.

I'll tell you what I did. I purchased a replica rear M3 for my baby, never fit right and it was the "best replica" that they could find. I got rid of that shit and went went Mtech (the exact one that they put on the 355IS minus double exhaust) Fit perfect.

Now my front end is a M3 replica, IMO its waay nicer then Mtech but again its my opinion. Also the replica doesnt fit right, but I loooove the front end of a M3.

+5 on the M-rep front and M-tech rear.

I do not like the M-tech front on the pre-lci.

I went with M3 side skirts. Looked at Mtech vrs M3 and for me, the M3 front looks much better. The Mtech on an e90 just looks so......square.

For the rear I wanted an Mtech with the option to go with different diffusers. But it seemed much more expensive to go with Mtech rear than just M3 rear, so almost went with M3 rear as well. Holy crap, I could just imagine all the childern driving behind me muttering to themselves, "That's not an M3". Whatever man.

Ended up ordering an Mtech rear from rockauto

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...770&cc=1431851

Also, BMWmercedas parts sells the OEM rear mtech bumper cover for $475 and @$30 shipping. Would have been tempting to get an actual BMW part, but I already ordered at rockauto. Will update with the quality of the rock auto rear mtech and the SelmaUSA M3 front.

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php

Was $333+$100/shipping. Looks OEM. All the "rep" covers I saw on ebay came casted (assuming) with a generic looking diffuser that I don't think comes off without cutting and I didn't want that.
