Sorry, just to avoid confusion, these are not weld-on. These simply bolt on top of your existing stock exhaust tips.

Honestly, I can't tell if these are OEM or not. But I dont think it really matters for simple bolt-on exhaust tip covers.

i didn't think it mattered either but had some that got nasty in about a year. the bmw type are really well done and will last much longer apparently.

Ah I hear what you're saying. I've had these on since late 2010, and still look pretty good. The bottom part has some normal emission dating, but that is expected with tips. The rest cleans right off with some Eagle One neverdull.

Oh, mine got rusty and bad. Indianapolis is rough on stuff with winters but the bmw ones on our other cars haven't had a problem. If only bmw didn't cheap out (on the cheap car - 325) and just finish off the exhaust properly in the first place!
