Question Tmap Sensor maxed out

Hellow guys ...

I just installed the VTT stage 2 turbo ... but un tuned yet ... will be tuned by PFT ... now the problem is when i took a cobb data log ... the log shows that i am running flat at 21.7 psi ... so i checked my meth kit boost gauge to see how high am i running ... it shows 24 and 26 psi ... which i think above our sensor are able to read ...

so, are there any aftermarket tmap sensor ??? i have been searching everywhere and i got nothing ... maybe any of you have any information where can i get an after market tmap sensor that can read up to 30 psi ??

before Dzeno cut my psi lower .. hahahahaha...

thanks in advance ... :P

My understanding is this cannot be done with cobb alone. Either switch to jb4 with n20 tmap sensor, or standalone ecu like aem ems. Sure ptf could give more info

PTF don't support stacking on the N55 at the moment.
If you want to switch to the JB4 then you can use the sensor from the N20 engine which reads up to 3.5bar.
But I'm sure I remember Terry saying he wasn't getting much extra power going over 21 psi.

so ... all n55 tuner are only running at max of 21 psi ??

The N20 sensor is scaled differently and the Cobb can't adjust the table. Not sure what the actual numbers are but lets say the stock tmap 5v = 21PSI, on the n20 sensor 5v = 35psi The JB4 can re-scale the voltage / PSI

Not plug and play, you'll need a JB4 with Flex fuel wires, N20 sensor adapter and USB cable.

this will be a hastle for tuning i guess... so , basically everybody is restricting their n55 to 21 psi for now ??

well jb4 can already use the n20 sensor to upscale boost.
Now that the PTF guys have brought out their port injection fuelling etc, my understanding is that running that with AEM or other EMS will allow increased boost limits also. Thats why I bought this

You may not need a adapter for the N20 sensor. There are two different connectors that came on the N55's for tmap. Look on Terry's site for the jb4 where it says to determine if you need harness A or B. The 3.5bar N20 TMAP was P&P on my E90.
