that area is all part of the front bumper

I don't know... even after that article they ran about the license plate bracket being optional, those pictures don't inspire a ton of confidence that the "wart" is removable.

The Alpine white looks sick!!! Not happy with the front plate holder. I would swap it out as my first order of business. However for now I am saving my money for the F10 M5. I gotta get hands on one

I know everyone's a critic but the new front end is just oddly proportioned and I'm not feeling it

Thank you very much for the nice photos, but let the concerned Americans change the shape of the license plate instead of spoiling the whole front of the very beautiful looking BMW F30. However, I believe if the concerned people in BMW of North America could integrate the side reflectors into the head and rear lights like other foreign Car manufacturers in the US, instead of the way they currently look or forget all about them.

That front hood line is very distracting and ugly. It seems, too, that the lighter color the paint, the more prominent that black line becomes.

Possibly a pre-production xDrive? All xDrive 3 series sport models are square setup.

It appears that square will be standard, and staggered will be optional. This actually makes a ton of sense, as 90% of buyers probably find more inconvenience in not being able to rotate and the resulting increase in wear. That and the decrease in understeer are great and it probably decreases drag coefficient a hundredth or so. But a 335i with 225's does not sound like fun, even an A4 2.0 gets a square 245 setup.

Again, it will likely help with initial buyer feedback scores, and for those of us that will immediately ditch the stock runflats and probably stock wheels, this isn't a big deal, but they sure have made it a narrow setup for the weight and power of the car.

I'm still not used to the front fascia yet. the headlights & grilles are too low to the ground, i.e. not proportional. Making the car looks too tall.

the only good angle & photo of the F30 to me is the blue F30 sport package on the top left of the banner of the F30post page.

Comes to think about it, F30 only looks good if you're low to the ground.
if you take photos of it, make sure your camera is low to the ground.

Have to preface this with saying I have only gotten a quick look at the new 3-series in real life, but I've gotta say that with every new picture I dislike the redesign more and more, and this is coming from someone who adores the current 5 and 6 series designs. By trying to squash and fit and modernize some of the features and design cues of the 5 and 6 series, the proportions and stance are all changed and thus the 3 just looks sloppy and haphazard. The cutaway headlights, while distinct, are otherwise a disaster, looking like a cross of the previous 6-series and a rejected Tron Legacy model, and the chintzy bottom bumper on all but the m-sport line simply looks like it will break off at any moment.
However, will reserve all final judgement until one is seen live. And of course, hope upon hope that the new coupe comes out well

Scott, you have a new hint in your signature. Pretty please, what does GENF mean?
