Custom Exhaust System
So I decided to get a 14816 magnaflow muffler and I think I am going to remove the resonator to increase the sound, Is there anything else I should remove to make it louder while still having the cats??

And if you have no muffler in PA the cops hit you with a huge fine and a fix it ticket. And at my school the cops check to see if you have a muffler when youre parked in the lot

It's not a matter of if it will fit, you can make anything fit with enough work. The exhaust piping size is too small for even the stock exhaust pipe. It's like crushing the a straw at the very end.

So would running 3" piping to the 14816 be the best set up? If the inlet size isn't 3" on the muffler, should it be made so that it is??

Magnaflows (with tips) are only single 2.25" inlet. 2.5" wouldn't even be an upgrade from stock, it would be about even.
