2011 335i Question
I'm getting ready to purchase a new 335i coupe and have a dilemma. I love the front fascia on the 2011 model, so I don't want to ruin it with the aero kit. At the same time, the M sport package is a must for me, but includes said aero kit. Obviously I could just get the basic sport kit, but it doesn't include the steering wheel, and the V-spoke wheels that come with it are horrendous, IMO. Is there any way I can get the M sport package without the aero kit? My dealer gave me a flat 'no', but thats not good enough for me. Anyone know if its a possibility?
Thanks. |

i am guessing that it is NOT possible to do what youre asking at the factory.
another option might be to find another LCI 335i owner in the same color to switch bumpers/skirts/wheels with. i am sure you can find an LCI 335i with only ZSP who wouldnt mind upgrading the exterior ZMP parts. |

I would imagine the 'aero kit' is just an additional lip on the front, if so why not simply remove it? I'm sure you could make a couple hundred back by selling it as well.

the aero-kit is the m-sport bodykit.
I'd say just order the m-sport package and look for someone that doesn't have the m-sport to trade with. I'm sure someone will pay a premium to swap with you as m-sport body parts are worth a lot more. |
