Wish there were more colors but the new engraving that they are doing is fantastic!

Any idea on width and offset options for the ZE40 in 5x120 yet? Web search isn't helping me beyond the range the wheels will be offered in generally

Have they confirmed specs for the 991 yet on the TE37 Ultras?

These are 8000 ton forged wheels?

Will the Ultras be available in 18" sizes later? Are they actually lighter, or is it mainly just the engraving that's different?

.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

From my understanding is that they are not lighter, but are stronger, have the anti slip feature for the tire, and the new machined engraving.

But I could be wrong….

You're pretty much on the dot, here's a quick list:

- Bridge between the spokes allows for extreme rigidity
- Overhang and pocket carving on hub area allow for extreme lightness while retaining rigidity
- Stiffness levels are off the charts
- Machined Volk logo branding now standard
- Knurled bead seat for anti tire slip and maximum traction

Wish the Japanese companies would make their wheels in less flush fitments. That et20 offset pretty much makes it impossible to run anything wider than a 295 in back without fender modification or pulling, or less than optimal camber. Advan does the same stuff. There's at least 7-10mm of room to the interior left on the table with most of the rear fitments and the only way to take advantage of it is to machine the hub face.

Still love the ze40 though, my new favorite Volk

I don't even think a 295 will fit... At least I haven't been able to fit a 295 on a 10.5" wheel with an offset lower than et25. I should say - a 295 tire in proper OEM diameter. I have seen people run 295/30/18's on low offset 10.5" wheels. I just don't like going to 18" wheels and turning around and installing 30-series tires with a diameter 1" smaller than OEM (295/35/18 is closest to OEM diameter).

Hi guys,
I have ne important question for you, What is the name of the paint code for this wheel in matte gunmetal blue?
I'm looking for this color code necessarily because I want to paint my car in that color.
I would really appreciate an answer.

The ZE40s are gorgeous. Bummer on the rear offset, though.
