Unsupported ROM, any luck with DME update in SOCAL?
Just got my hands on a mint Cobb V2 and couldn't wait to marry it with my N55 135i. Of course with my luck it is one of two unsupported ROMs. I've searched for answers and they all say the same thing, get your DME updated. From what I've seen it is pretty hit or miss with getting the dealer onboard... Anyone already tackle this issue in the SOCAL area? I have an appointment with BMW of San Diego and I've emailed them citing the service bulletin about fluctuating idle at low speeds off throttle (coasting). Never hurts to go into this battle with more info, anyone have any experience please respond or PM me. Thanks.

Are you dct? I had the same issue with the unsupported rom. Took my car into bmw Encinitas with the dct sib and asked to update my DME sw. Not sure which one actually changed the rom version but my dct is perfect in terms of response and my rom was updated to a version that is supported by cobb.

Do you have a copy of the dct sib posted in the forums? I would not show up to the dealership without it because it is very likely they have no idea it exists.

No DCT, just 6MT. I didn't think it specifically said DCT on the service bulletin so I was gonna try to still use it.
