Brake Light Showing

I always use my Ebrake when parking.. & one day after starting my car & putting it down the 'BRAKE' indicator wouldn't turn off.
I've tried pulling the Ebrake back up & down to see if it'd turn it off, but no success.
Any ideas on what to do?

your brakes may need to be changed. I know when i went 100km over the indicated change time the handbrake symbol would always be there when i was driving.

did you have a count down every time you started your car indicating your brakes need changing?

Yeah, this is probably because the preset brake service interval has passed. Mine did this as well.

You probably wore out your pad sensors, meaning it is time for a BJ.... Brake Job.

I didn't, I haven't noticed anything squeaking or jerking in the car at all though. It's really strange.

check the brake pad life through the dash or idrive. If you still have decent pad life on the brakes, you will just have to replace the sensors (about 15 bucks each). There is one for the front and rear. In my experience, i had to replace both to be able to reset the light

Your sensors are worn because your pads are gone, that is the point of the sensors. Your car is telling you need to replace the pads and sensors (the sensors get consumed like the pads). Often the back side pad wears faster (at least on my car it did) so even though my pads looked like they had lots of life left, the pads on the other side were close to done.
