I would think almost anything is better than oem.
Especially and OLD oem that's battered and chokers with flies and crap.

Worth a punt but not saving much after import duty, handling fees and then 20% VAt on top of the sum.
Get a leaky one and the saving is wiped clean out by the shipping and aggro.

Another thing to be concerned about is replacement tubing.
It wont be oem of course so where do you get a pipe in two years time?

Only on the 7" though surely?

I expect the 5" would be ideal for most people not going big turbo.

Ive had no response from the supplier Alibaba so im leaving that and going for VRSF instead.

Ive had a quote for $900 inc shipping for a VRSF intercooler and downpipe which works out approx £300 each. I think thats a very good price.

Do you have a link to the shop that's offering that price..?

From the $ sign I'm guessing its from the states and if so what would the import tax and duty etc be on that..? Would you end up paying over £400..?

The quote was via PM with VRSF. Even with the additional charges it still looks good value.

Also from reading a few threads, you can limit these charges if the paper work is done in a certain way. Im not encouraging this in any way though.
