2007 BMW 120i Hatchback - I want more power
Im new to modifications on cars and need guidance thankyou.
Hello i live in australia, i have been wondering what is the best way to mod up my car without spending to much. I have been looking at getting new air filter, ecu chip, and exhaust but wondering if this is the right combo to get more power i have emailed some places for an ecu chip and have told me to send my ECU to different places to turn it around and mod it to enhance it but unsure on the process. What ECU chip should i be looking for ? Would BMW be the best option to purchase better exhaust and ECU ? End result is i want to be able to mod my car up from Stock (115kw or 156hp) to 150kw or 200hp. any ideas ? thankyou |

Not a chance!
Search the forums - you'll see that these mods will not get anywhere those values. Exhaust / intake / basic chips will give <5HP each. The only way to get 35kW power increases is to super/turbo charge... ..or do what you should have done in teh 1st place - buy a 130i. Or maybe you are a car mod freak and are doing some sort of project...?
