Just blacked out my wheels

Hi All,

I just had my OEM wheels powder coated gloss black. Let me know what you all think. And yes I am going to get rid of that rust on the inner hubs .

Also, any suggestions for additional upgrades would be greatly appreciated! I really wanted to coat the calipers a shade of orange or yellow, but I left them as-is since they are OEMs and aren't exposed well. I also don't want to dish out a few grand for a new brake kit right now.

I like it as well!! I was thinking of doing the same thing with my 197 EOM, but wasn't sure about the look mix with the chrome widow trim... It looks better then I thought!
P.S I would definitely do the black glossy grills and painted reflectors if I were you :-)

Looks great! I'd blacken the chrome as well, but that's just me.

I'm not always for the 'murdered out' look, but the chrome grill and trim around the doors seems very out of place now. My vote is to do those next.

Other than that, looks great.

Looks pretty good! I agree, blacked out window trim would suit the car nicely.

Thanks for all the great comments! I agree that blacking out some of the chrome would look nice. Will definitely keep this in mind.

If you're not sure of a credible place in your area you can ask your local dealer. A lot of the times they know someone who fills in requests for them to do this sort of thing and you can even go through the dealer themselves. Just be sure to know the going rate for the work you're getting done.

I think your car just needs a drop and it would look great. I'm fine with the chrome on your car, so personally I'd leave the window trim and to me the chrome kidney grill looks great on a black car.
