Wheel Alignment / Tracking

Just had my winter tyres fitted this weekend past. was hoping to hold out for a bit longer as the weather has been good of late but one of my tyres was worn to the chord on the outside shoulder so couldnt wait any longer.

I thought it strange the worst wear was on the outside so went to kwik-fit for a free alignment check to be told they cant do it because the alignment needs to be "weighted". Ive never heard of this before. Can anyone shed some light on it and/or give info on where abouts it can be done (aberdeen area)

Firstly, never take your car to kwikky for anything

As a fully adjustable rear wheel drive car it needs a proper 4 wheel alignment, something kwikky can only dream about.

Try WWW.alignmycar.co.uk for a decent local 4 wheel aligner.

I've had the metal caps seize on before so I now use plastic caps. Had to get 2 of the valves taken off

cheers doughboy , that site threw out 2 place up my way so am looking into it.

I try to stay clear of kwik fit but my hand was forced by the legality, or lack of, of my tyres. They were the only place that could fit me in on a sunday.
