Installed $30 front lip (ez-lip)

Hi All,

After seeing the ez-lip installed on user Simonnn's beautiful car (see his car here) I decided to give it a shot. What's the worst that could happen when it's only $30 + $5 shipping?

I have to say it's probably the best $<50 mod I've done on any of my cars. I'll be lowering my car soon, so if I end up destroying it I'll just buy another one

It's not as in your face as a true aftermarket front lip, but I think it accents the car really well. My only plan is to cut off the ends at an angle so it flows a bit better towards the end of the bumper.

Sorry my car is a bit dirty :-\

Hope you enjoyed the pics, let me know what you think!

Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words contrast of the lip looks better against your white car over my black! I do notice that it looks like yours is angled slightly more upwards than mine, maybe its just the pics though.

Either way it looks good for such a cheap mod!

Is the EZ-Lip the same thing as us American's making Home Depot lips, i.e. moldable rubber sealing lip?

I will take a few more pictures tomorrow when I have my car out if the garage. I think it will be easier to see in natural light.

I took a couple pictures outdoors, but the problem is that the shadow the front bumper creates makes it somewhat hard to see the outline of the front lip.

Thanks guys! Ive driven a few hundred miles with it now and it still looks great (other than seemingly managing to slay an entire colony of bugs during my trip)

Not bad....I've been wondering about this for use under the side skirts. Maybe if you have any left you can show us what that would look like?

I do have some left - I'm on a business trip until Wednesday night but I will try and remember to do a sample piece of the side skirt when I get home.

Helpful picture tip. Take a picture so the sun is actually hitting the part you want to be able to see.

I have had it for a year now and so far no issues. Except it attracts a lot of dust.

There you go a a squared - I guess I'm off the hook for the photos now?

Let me know if you still want a pic of something, but I'm guessing Dushkara's pic should answer your question.

Well I can't comment on the winter months seeing as a) I've only had it a week and b) I live in California.

I have taken it on several highway trips with no issues. What is tihs all fit automotive lip? link?

So this is a Rubber Lip? It definitely looks good but if you driving 60+ is it flapping around like a rubber grommet?

Wonder if you could wrap it in carbon fiber or even have it dipped to make it solid essentially.

Yes it is rubber but it is stiffer than you are imagining - also a good portion of the width of the strip is taped onto the bumper so there isn't as much overhang to flap around as you would think.
