This. Maybe he learned a lesson by getting that bad concussion this year? Probably not.

Was waiting for someone to say this. He could be a decent nfl TE. No shot at ever being a starting nfl QB.

Spurrier caused my disdain for Florida but I was still laughing my arse off as they were getting pounded.

Him crying, AGAIN, was just icing on the next beer.

Why does everyone think he's going to turn into a serviceable TE in the NFL? I've never seen him catch a pass, so who knows about his hands. How fast is he really? I'd be shocked if he ran faster than a 4.6/4.7 at the combine. Can he at least block half-assed? Not to mention that hes listed at 6'3", but i doubt he's much taller than 6'1".

Snaps from shotgun show he has hands. You don't play QB if you don't have hands. 40 yard dash not as important at TE. More about size and route running. Dallas Clark ran a 4.8 at his combine. Visanthe Shiancoe runs a 4.67. He has potential. Whether or not he can get it done is another question.

If he does indeed go the TE route, I'll gladly eat my words if he even comes close to either of those 2.

id be shocked if he ran a 4.6 at the combine. he doesnt look too fast. and running at the combine is different than running anywhere else. they start the time the millisecond you move. a lot of guys come into the combine claiming 4.3's and end up in the 4.5 range.

he better work his ass off if he is going to make it in the nfl. i cant see him being a qb or running the wildcat. you need to be fast in the nfl. you cant run lb's over anymore. good college qb but i dont think he will be anything in the pros

I'm not saying he is going to be nearly as good. Hell, I hate Tebow. I just gave those two of examples that you do not need incredible speed to be a good NFL TE.
