try retrofitting some in, itll run you 4-6k (different quotes I got from different dealers)..

for aftermarket, id be happy to pay 1500-2000 for 'oem looking' (read: clean) angel eyes + xenon assembly

Even parts will be more than $350. I'd guess a ballpark of over 1k for parts, and then whatever for installation.

What kind of country-ass is going to pay ~$1200 to get a rather minimal feature of a $950 option?

yea pricing is going to dictate how well this sells (why thank you captain obvious!). I'm only interested in the led halos (not xenon lights) so hopefully that will keep the damage below 1K

The $950 is to upgrade from standard lights. BMW saves on the cost of the standard light installations, and just charges 950 for the increased price of parts for halos and xenons.

As has been said before, OEM assemblies for two front angel eye plus xenon lights is well over 2k without installation. Remember you're not just buying a bulb or two, you're replacing the entire lighting fixture.

Yeah, Republic wraps says they can do it and I've found another that claims the same thing but they need your whole assembly for 2-3 weeks and don't have pics/published pricing... Kinda shady plus I NEED my damn headlights to drive with, ya know?

Re: Re halo lights for f30
You can't do a hid angel eye kit on a f30 that doesn't have hids, we sell a low beam and high beam hid kit, which is listed on our site for f30s and pictures ar e there.. But you can't add angel yes to halogen head lights unless you do oss for like 700.00

That 700 is to just add angel eyes to the existing halogen headlights. It is not a separate assembly, nor is it Xenon. It simply adds the LED rings to current assembly. What Oneighty is offering, unless I'm wrong, is a complete swapout of entire part.

Having spoken to OneEighty, that is my understanding. A complete replacement, xenon + Squared LED Angel Eyes

I understand this is just a prototype, but really hope they will be brighter just like oem. The picture is in a dark setting and it is a faint white. The oem are super bright with a tint of blue

To answer some of your questions,

We haven't released any pricing yet, but we will make it at a reasonable cost. We understand that it should be affordable.

There is no exact ETA on this kit but if things go according to plans I think maybe 2-3 months it should be ready.

We also have round led rings which we can install in the F30 but but based on the shape of the headlights and the housing, with the sharp edges we don't think they will flow. So we prefer to just make a completely new design.

If anyone has any suggestions as to what they prefer to see you can always shoot me a PM

Will this be plug and play or do I have to hire somebody to wire it in? Also, will it be code free?
