BMW Wheel Protection Plan

I purchased the protection plan back when I got the car. One of my friends recently told me that if I get a nail in the run flats BMW has to change all 4 tires out due to balance issues. Is that true? Thanks in advance.

No. That doesn't even make any sense.

To give you more perspective, I have the tire protection plan (not the wheel) from BMW and ran over a screw. The dealer replaced the one affected tire and that's all.

Not true. They will only replace the damaged tire.

If this were true people would be running over nails on purpose every 10k miles.
