Christopher Nolan's new movie "Interstellar"

Wanted to see what your guy's thoughts are on this movie.

Personally I think it will be good.

Movie theater here now serves alcohol so possibly.
I always enjoyed spacey/apocalyptic movies though.

I saw this movie and really really liked it. Normally a 3 hour movie would be a turn off, however this exceeded my expectations. I also recommend you catch this flick in IMAX.

I love science and science fiction, and have to say this movie is one of the best movies I've seen, ever. Very intelligent, intriguing, engaging, and touching movie all in one. Highly recommend.

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

Saw this in IMAX a couple of days following the release. A few parts were a bit outlandish with regard to him "stumbling" into the development headquarters of the space program and almost immediately being recruited to fly the craft with very little consideration of the consequences. The ending is also rather unbelievable but I suppose you can make anything possible in the sci-fi genre. Still, an entertaining film and on-par with my expectations. The Theory of Relativity is a total mind-fuck.

Kind of like Randy Quaid in Independence Day?!?

As soon as I heard reference to her "ghost" I knew we were dealing with relativity and time/space non-continuum stuff, but I had to keep my mouth shut.

I didn't notice (I was too engrossed in the film) but my son said he kept turning to look back at the audience and everyone was balling their eyes out?????

I absolutely loved the film. It could have been 4 hours long and I still would have enjoyed it.
