Card inside the door

hi guys... I was out at a club this Friday night. When I got back to my car I noticed those stupid business cards on the driver side window and threw them out. Since the weather was nice, I rolled down the front window. As the passenger side front window was going down I noticed a card there and before I could stop it, it just went inside the door through the glass opening. It has gone all the way in. When I try to open and close the passenger side window, I cannot feel the card causing any problems. Is there a easy way to remove it?

I would appreciate any suggestions. Also should I give the business whose card went inside a call?

That's bunk.

Yeah it sucks that the card is stuck in their forever, that's why I have a daily driver for going to places where people will get the chance to mess with my car.

I seriously doubt a piece of paper is going to affect anything. I wouldn't worry about it -- and I worry about everything.

lol u can take the door apart and take it out, but I say just forget about it. I have the experience of taking the door apart and there's nothing that can be easily damaged by 1/4 oz of paper.

spoke to a person at my dealers service department and they told me that it was not necessary to remove it. It would not cause any damage.

So that won't cause any problems with window operation. And to all of those people suggesting it'll be there forever, likely not true - if anything from a speaker, window regulator, window motor, door airbag ever have a fault that needs the door panel to come off, then the tech can easily take that card out then.

Window regs are a sore spot on bmws. Had a friend that just had the drivers door panel on his e92 removed to change out the window regulator.

Oh and if you're really particular and want to get it out, removing a door panel takes less than 15mins of actual work time, you just have to find repair instructions with the screw locations.
