Question Need some info on tuned 335i

Hi guys,

I'm new around here and have recently purchased a 335i sedan auto. Before people start laughing, I chose steptronic because NJ/NY 2 hour morning bumper2bumper commuter traffic is not fun ;/ I don't do much racing, but I love to have some fun once in a while. Anyway, I'm planning to drop some mods into the car and was considering getting jb3 and possibly the afe dual cones installed for the intake. Most likely, I will be running map 5, but I was wondering your opinions especially on the intake.

Also, how much total HP can I expect on map 5 with these mods completed? I don't really plan on modding it any further than this.

Cheers from New Jersey!

UMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........

JB+ is one product, it is plug and play. Can be installed in under a minute.

JB3 is a tune that comes with a "plug and play" harness if you so choose. It requires going into the ECU. Its much different than the JB+.

I suggest you spend some time read about the tunes on the forum, different maps, mods, etc. to get an idea of what numbers you'll be putting down.

no shame in owning in auto around these parts. It's actually more consistent and faster than a tuned 6MT.
