You don't need the dealer to do the reset. Google the reset to do it yourself.

I would start by getting a mechanic to check the AT fluid level, maybe it's low. And changing the AT oil is probably a good idea (many debates about it, but it's up to you).

Try downshifting with steptronic, does it also happen? Sport mode?
it happens in al driving modes, but it comes and goes. one time i go to stop and its smooth as silk, other times it jerks.

I guess try it and let us know. I haven't had any shifting or downshifting issues with my automatic trans so I did not notice anything when I tried it.

Update!!

so i had my trans flushed with Redline D4 ATF and had my adaptations reset by the dealer. but the car still jumps. i spoke to my servoce advisor and he said to flush my trans again with the oem fluid. if that doesnt fix it he says i will most likely need a transmission!?!?! sooo im hoping this is not the case and that the oem fluid will fix this.

No it doesnt work. Dealer confirmed. I love the guys that say its "night and day difference" after reset. Dealer can do it .

Dealers can do reset and more than one has confirmed that owners cannot by "placing accelerator hard to floor". The same thread comes up every month.
Why are you so angry? Never been wrong before?
