Can you take a e92 335i coupe and put it's mufflers on a e90 335xi sedan?!?!

I'm trying to buy a BMW Performance Exhaust that was on an e92 and obviously I drive a 335xi. It's only mufflers so I don't see why a cut and attach wouldn't work even though technically its different part numbers.

The e90 exhaust is 1/2" - 1" shorter than the e92. I believe the difference is in the exhaust tips so they would stick out from the rear bumper a little bit more on your e90.

IIRC, most people who have done this said everything fits perfectly, but there were a couple people that said it requires a little bit of modding to get them to fit.

I was told I'd be missing the mid pipes...? cuz the e92 has an X pipe
