Cool Retrofitting Sirius at BMW and they are having trouble, help please!

First off, thanks for any help, its much appreciated...

I purchased Siriusus module off the forum here for my 2009 335i Coupe with Navi (CIC) .... I made an appointment at BMW for them to do whatever programming wanecessaryry to make it work. I installed it myself beforehand but they confirmed it was in correctly. Pretty hard to mess up , but just making that clear...

When they go to program it they get an error saying that its the wrong part # module and to get the latest one. Now at first it was understandable because mine was an older one, but my friend works at the dealer, He than said he was going to go to parts and get the latest module to do the coding with that installed, tafterwordsards swap the newer one out with mine... Upon doing this, they than received the same exact message as before with the older module, so it is clear that there is another issue at hand here...

Does anyone have any experience with anything like this? Or have any advice?

He showed me their computer screen that has the cars components listed like the CIC and all the other modules Siriuse sirius module was red while the others i believe were green or grey showing that they were readable and good to go. He was going to try a few things tomorrow but if I can give him any ideas it would be of a huge help to us. He said he did a ton of these retrofits and all of them went smooth and nothing like this has happened before... I appreciate any help!!!

For reference I have part number - 9192274
and the newest part number he tried with is - 9119346

The same thing happened to me but with my alarm coding. They could not get it to work with the car and said I had a old part number and needed the upgraded one.

After getting the new part like they said they found out their tool did not have the latest update. After they updated the tool they had no problem getting it to work.
