Pretty cool start to the game in San Jose.

There was pretty good part of the crowd that actually sang the Canadian national anthem. Very classy.

I think half the season ticket holders in San Jose are Canadians. The only time the fans sing the American national anthem is after the Canadians sing and the Americans have to respond.

I had to break up a fight between a Sharks fan and some Canucks fans after the game. First time I have ever seen a fight after a Sharks game. The SJ fan was being a drunk dick who started it. So a few punches to the head were not out of line IMO. But after the guy was dropped, the Canucks fans started kicking him when he was down. Not cool. I put a end to that. Afterwards we all talked about how everyone respected each others teams so everyone lived happily ever after.

Is it just me or have the playoffs been awesome this year? All these games are great fun to watch. No real stinkers. Congrats to Vancouver fans - your team is on a mission this year.

Given that the final round starts on June 1, I don't see the Canuck's time off as any huge advantage. Boston & Tampa will still be looking at 5 day's rest themselves before the start of the final round.
