Matt black kidney grills to gloss?

So iv just received a pair of flat matt black kidney grills and im thinking I should have got gloss black as looking at pics on the net they go well when on a black bmw.

So my question is if I just spray these with a clear coat will they be the same as the gloss black ones you can buy as it will give them a shine?

No, you need to either repaint it or get new ones. I have matte on mine and love it. Try it out.... Not even a big difference like wheels or body color.

Plasti-dip glossifier might do the trick. If you don't like it just peel it off.

it wont be the same. itll look closer, but not close to the same gloss black. just sell it and buy a new/used set of gloss black grilles.

i went through the exact same thing. started off with matte black grilles but wanted gloss black after. sooooooooo glad i changed now. lol

If you click the link to my garage, one of the pictures has my car when it was still black sapphire with flat black grills. I liked the look. I still have them on it now that it is frozen black and I like the look even more
