Strut suggestions - here's my set up and desires - noob alert-

Hey guys.

So, the time has time (car season) that I want to upgrade my struts/shocks. Let me tell you a bit about my car and desires in hopes of being guided to the right choice:

Car: 328i Coupe. AT. Sport Package Suspension
Upgrades: HR lowering springs, M3 control arms, eibach sways, front strut bar

Current issue: My concern is that rocking OEM struts on a lowered body will cause premature damage and could affect ride quality.

Idea: Upgrading to the most aggressive and stiff struts available.

Purpose: regular street car, not always a daily driver, but driven about 3-4 times a week, mainly weekends for spirited drives. I do have plans on road racing and auto cross.

I've always loved a stiffed suspension where you can feel everything on the road. That said, what struts/shocks would compliment my current setup and future desires fro the car?

I know these questions are super open ended and broad, so I tried to be as specific as possible. If I'm missing anything, please shout and I'll update with more information.

Thanks for reviewing, looking forward to some good advice that my wallet will hate BTW, price really doesnt matter as long as I get the quality ride/parts I need.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I had a buddy say Bilstein Sport shock where good, too. Anybody rock those?

I know this is a silly question, but would new shocks affect ride height as well?

Perhaps sell your springs and look into the Bilstein B12 kit. I have driven on B8 shocks with my BMWPS springs and I could feel what the shocks were about (very nice Monotube damping, but realized my springs were too stiff for them). If they are matched with the correct Eibachs in the B12 kit I'm hearing its a great setup. I think the whole kit can be had for $830ish.....checkout D Bimmer recent thread....
