best 295 rear tire? e92 m3

hi guys i currently have a 295/30/19 rear tire on my e92 and it rubs slightly while hitting big bumps, does anyone know the best tire performance wise for that size that will not rub or rub very slightly like it does now, the car is not lowered at all
thanks

Do you have spacers? I've heard that the Michelin PSS 295/30/19's are a perfect fit if you are on ZCP rims.

I just trimmed my fender liner a bit to get 295/30/19 AD08 to fit at full compression lowered on coilovers. It only took a few minutes with a dremel, and nobody would ever notice unless they were inspecting the fender liner with the wheel off.

I didn't expect to have to trim it. I can tell you from experience that there is some variance between each individual M3. I'm not crazy low, roughly zero fender gap rear, or possibly a few mm tuck.

Not that I'm bitching about it, I mean it is normal to have some variance in a mass produced vehicle. But I can tell you that mine rubbed until I trimmed the fender liner. And the wheels and tires I'm running did not rub on a different E92 M3 running H&R springs.

I trimmed the plastic that sticks out, on the right rear it is toward the rear bumper/fender. It's hard to describe in words I guess. No pics, sorry.

I am also running VMR's. 19x10 in the front and 19x11 in the back, 265/30/19 and 295/30/19 no rubbing at all, never even experienced it with this car. Tires are Hankook Ventus V12. I'm also on the ZCP drop which is about 10mm.

I assume you are running the RE050A or the S-04 Pole Position? Which is weird considering Alex07M3 runs AD08 295's which generally run wider than most other tires. I'd say you ordered +25 offset wheels but were given +20. I don't see any other reason for this to happen especially on a stock car. I plan on lowering mine and with enough negative camber it shouldn't rub then either.

I've had success with Nitto's, both the Invo's and the NT-05's. Ran a 305 on a +25 and rubbed very slightly in the beginning with a loaded car. Running a 295 on a +22 with no issues.

What PSS tire size are you running up front on ZCPs? I have ZCP wheels and want to put on the widest tires front and back without rubbing. Thanks.

295/30r19 AD08s on 19x10.5 ET25 rubs. It just barely rubs on the little protrusion of fender liner but I don't want to cut it, so switching to a 275/35r19 rear.

Can you please share the rest of the tire info?

Brand/model, aspect ratio.

I'd love to run 275 / 295 and I'm thinking the PSS 275/30/ZR19 and 295/30/ZR19 look like a good set. Is that what you're running, stock?

Well, you can forget all that. The new car is fitted with a turbocharged straight six. Turbocharging? In an M car? That’s like putting gravy on an ice cream.

I replied to your PM Kurt with some more insight but yes they are PSS tires with the same spec you described, on my stock E92 ZCP. Forum member 4sevens.com has run this same combo on his stock E90 ZCP in the past with no issues either.

Haven't really kept notice honestly. I would maybe expect a very slight decrease in MPG due to the shorter tire diameter over stock (higher RPMs required to match the same speed as that of a taller tire), but I definitely haven't noticed any significant difference.
