Sneak Peek: Matte Blue Gunmetal Volk TE37 Ultra & ZE40

Volk Racing stopped by our facility to show off some of their new wheels, we jumped on the opportunity to snap some photos for you.

On the left is a 20"x10.0" Volk TE37 Ultra, and on the right is an 18"x11.0" Volk ZE40. Both wheels are painted in a unique Matte Blue Gunmetal finish, and feature extensive CNC machining work. According to Volk, these wheels utilize a special manufacturing process to create the new centers, which don't only look great, but also add additional strength and rigidity.

Weights come in at 24lbs for the 20"x10.0" on the TE37 Ultra and 20.3 for the 18x11 ZE40.

Another new feature found on these wheels is anti tire slip knurling on the rims, which is trickle down technology from Formula 1. Sharp eyes will also notice the "bridge" created in the lug circle, which increases wheel strength. Lug holes are also slightly larger for most standard-wall 17mm sockets.

These wheels will start making their way over to the USA in mid April, but for now you can get an up close and personal look at them below.

For those going to Bimmerfest on May 17th at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, we will have the wheels on display in our booth to see firsthand.

I dig these so so much! Do these take center caps? I would be interested in pricing as well for 19x9.5 and 19x10.5!

TE37 Ultra will be released in 20" only (likely aimed at GTR), other sizes may be released in the near future.

However, ZE40 is 18" from 8.5" up to 12.0" widths.

Both accept center caps (not included). Pricing will be announced closer to release date.

24 lbs for a 20 inch...Isn't that heavy? 20 inch flow formed "fake" forged wheels are like 22lbs.

I was surprised too. I guess they add some mass for strength.

Will Volk offer the writing on the Ultras in black instead of white???? Hate the white, since I have a black car.

Volk has moved to engraving on logos with the new releases.

The logo engraving is not painted, so it will still be silver in appearance.

More than that I believe. They're about the same price as TE's IIRC

Sorry about that, the engraving shows the raw aluminum color (silver).
