help getting style 65's on my 128i
Hello, I am trying to get a better fitment for these style 65's on my 09 128i sports package. My friend is going to sell me his wheels off his E39 M5 and they look amazing. I just have one problem though, I like the way it looks but the rear wheels are a bit too wide. Is there anything that I could do to help it not stick out as much, it looks pretty dope almost like a rc car/hot rod but I don't want to drive around like that too worried it will rub with these crappy Chicago streets. So is there anything anyone can recommend besides an extreme fender rolling. I was even looking into installing the M3 control arms front and rear since its supposed to give a bit more camber but I don't think it would make that much of a difference. More than likely some coil-overs some time this year but by then I would probably have a different set of wheels. I attached some pictures of the fitment so you guys can see for yourself. Thanks

I have always loved those wheels, and wondered what they would look like on a 1er. They look awesome, but they definitely do stick out too far in the back. Someone else may chime in, but I do not believe there is anyway to make them fit in a cost effective manner. You would need to narrow the track of the rear of the car, which would be a very expensive undertaking requiring essentially replacing the rear suspension and axles in their entirety. Would probably be cheaper to have replicas of those wheels custom made with the correct offset. By the way, I saw that you're in Chicago. What part of the city? I live down in the South Loop myself.
