Yes, according to the map download section. I imagine it takes advantage of the improved cooling in an IS. I can't say for sure if it really any different than a map for a normal 335i.

Cobb is exactly what you want. Easier to use. Easier to install. Easier to uninstall. You will not be disappointed with the Cobb AP tuner. Plus some vendors will blow your mind on the price you pay for them

I dont believe it does. It would help on the track over time, but the changes shouldnt have any impact on the power output over short burst such as a dyno pull or a 1/4 mile.

I'm no launch monster and it's been a little cold (lots of wheel spin) but I seem to be around 5" 0-60 with a normal start pushed gradually to the floor. Of course that's scientifically measured with an iphone app as well....

What is all this talk I hear about Map 6 specific to the 335is with no mods (I have DCI, but that's it)? Can anyone comment? Also, this is a newbie question, where do I get "map 6"? My new cobb is waiting on me at home, delivered today. Can't wait.

oops, just realized the Map 6 I keep hearing about is found on the JB4? True? So what map can I run on my Cobb with only a DCI?

Get an FMIC, its only good for your car and any argument that could void your warranty is beyond idiotic.

Just took advantage of the 15% off at Dinan. FMIC, Exhaust & Stage 2 suspension on the way to complement the COBB AP. Don't flame me for the brand selection...I had my reasons. Now I just need to find the right map to run with the new parts.

No worries on the brand, anything is better than the stock FMIC. You get temp jumps in the 40-90 degree range during single gear pulls and it murders performance. I would recommend it to a 100% stock car just to keep IATs stable and low.

Me too bro I'd have done helix but my indy never called me back. Although my hose to the turbo popped off and I was getting boost leak so hopefully its fixed (had to leave the cobb on for the dealer visit due to it only throwing codes in that mode). I just hope its not a clamp issue that will continue to crop up each time I boost.

and even pushing near 100 more whp, temps were stable with the helix and a nightmare with the stock fmic.
