A new rear bumper is $2000 at most, and the car is worth 3X that at least. There must be more to that salvage title.

Nice headlights. Lol that's my only gripe about the 986 and 996. She looks clean, more pics?

Heh, great buy man. Talk about handling all you want but... my 328i would still win in a drag race.

Not by much. your 328i is 14.6 on the quarter mile. the porsche does 14.8.

My 335i will slaughter you though. =) 13.3 best time so far. (stock except for rims/ tires)

idk... I'm gonna need to sell something. The wife has her e46, my 335i is my "fun" car and the boxster is now my daily. I think I'll sell my e46 convertible.

I chose the boxster as a daily over the e46 just because the boxster is a manual.

A win is a win. It goes to show how quick that Porsche still is though; the Boxster wasn't even built to win in a straight line. $5k, 13 years old, and it still can beat 75% of what's out there. I wonder if it can still pull those times with 120k on the clock.

And hey hey hey now, I'm only 17. I'm not supposed to have a fast car. See me in 20 years for a rematch when I drive a Ferrari.

I do have an excuse: I don't have a 335i. If you bought it yourself, congrats. If not, lucky bastard. You have a wife too... you're on the fast track lol.

I seriously won't be able to buy another car worth buying untill I'm in my early-mid 30s though. Medical school is expensive and all the meagre money I make as a resident will go towards rent, ramen, gas, and insurance. The rest will go to helping my parents pay off the loans.

What kind of job, if I may ask? Sounds like you're doing great for yourself.

I have a great summer job with the organization my dad works for. $12.45 an hour @ 40 hours a week. It equates to about $3300-3800 cash in hand per summer. This is my 2nd year and I'll be able to work it as long as I'm a student if I want to. Without too much spending, I could reasonably put a $20k down payment on a house with it when I'm out of school.

My dream requires so much time and hard work.

I'm a dispatcher for a trucking company (which comes out to about 4k a month) and I also have my own truck which I run in the company. After I pay the driver and all of my payments (for insurance, truck + trailer) I make 2-3k profit a month. (depending on the months.)

Here's an older pic of my truck. (It feels funny calling it my truck since I don't drive it but here it is.)

I'm a loser for having a 328i, but you're uncool for having an E92 - I can hold 3 girls in my car comfortably, only 1 for you bud.

E90 will be my DD for a looooooong time. If everything goes well, I'll be a specialized surgeon in 15 years. Hoping for U Miami, Berkeley, UCLA, Georgetown, or Duke. (All over the place I know lol) I'll settle for UMD or UNC though.

I know I have it in me. A surgeon saved the life of my best friend when he fell out of the back of a truck and landed on his head... with his only complication being a month or two in the hospital. It could have been so much worse. That amazes me that someone can do that. I may not go into neurosurgery, but that insipres me. (Orthopedic and plastic interest me)

I have a 3.9 unweighted GPA with every class at the highest level I can take, lacrosse and weightlifting for ECs, I'm gonna spend a lot of my time volunteering at hospitals and clinics, shadowing doctors, and I'm gonna knock the teeth outta the SAT/ACT. I'm only a junior too lol. I hope colleges like me.

And psshh, 5'9 supermodels with D cups are gonna want their own door. Sorry.
