Not sure why some are so surprised or even angry. $4k increase for the F82 (I'm assuming it's the same or maybe less for the F80) but you get more standard stuff. I mean if you were able to afford an E9X M3, this would still be in your range, $4,000 isn't or shouldn't be a big deal if you were seriously considering the M3/M4. I am no where close to being able to afford a M3/M4 but I'm disappointed in the paint and interior options. I'm pretty sure the E9X M3 had a lot more choices.

100k+ for M3....?!

may as well get the M5
2014 M5 Sedan base $101,500.00
Z5I - Premium Package $10,500.00
XE7 - Piano Finish Black Wood Trim $1,000.00
6F2 - Bang and Olufsen Sound System $4,900.00
B05 - Monte Carlo Blue Metallic $0.00
LKA9 - Silverstone Ext Merino Leather $0.00
Sub Total $117,900.00
Less Discount 5.5%($6,531.25)
Sub Total $112,218.75

I'm glad I didn't wait for the M3.

Executive Package $5,000.00
Technology Package $1,500.00
ConnectedDrive Services $500.00
M Double Cluth Transmission $3,900.00

Total $101,545.00

And I will echo what others have said. Dealers in the Vancouver market don't discount very much at all. They are almost always using their full production allotment so discounting is just dollars our of their pocket without any additional benefit.

Disapointed with the colors inside and outside and the wheels. I don't want those wheels, I can't stand black wheels. Why we don't have more choices?
Does anybody know if they offer Individual soon and what colors?

With such poor offer I think I will pass this M...

Not lease bit surprised, I really can't justify spending that much for a enhanced 435i. Rather spend an extra 30k+ on one of these!

Only in your dreams is a new m3 an "enhanced" 435 anymore than any prior gen m3 has always been a mega 3 series.

The Z06 is truly awesome. I bet a lot of people are thinking the same way you are.

CFRP roof is standard. Replacing the CFRP roof with a sunroof (steel roof) is a no cost option (option #403).

The option packages are getting ridiculous.

At least in the past some of the packages made sense and were related items.

To get the universal garage door opener - I need to get Hi beam assistant, active blind spot and lane departure which I have no need for?

I don't know why they cannot allow individual items instead of having to add crap you don't want. (That is rhetorical - as I know they do it because they can).

Same with the screwing around with full and extended leather. You basically have to get both the executive and premium packages to have some of the basic stuff a $70,000 car should have.

I think that's about it for me and BMW. I cannot see spending $90k plus Canadian for this car. I am not impressed with the colour choices except AW, and no matter how I try - I still cannot get over the long ungainly hoods on all the new BMW's.

I'll keep my E92 M3 and start looking at the new Vette, or a P-car (may as well get an excellent car while really getting screwed for options!).

The car will likely come prewired for Sirius. You can pay your dealer about 1k to add the radio. Not cheap but far less than a premium package if you don't want all the other bits included.

Cheers!

I have received an updated timeline for the BMW M3 and BMW M4.
We will have 1 of each pre-spec'ed BMW M3/M4 for March Production used for Display at the dealership during April. Cars ordered for the April Build to be taken delivery in June 2014.

Received this from my dealer a couple hours back, haven't seen this posted yet so thought I would share. Nothing much new to report here aside from the breakdown on the 'added value' of the 2015 M3/M4.

Thanks for sharing. Hopefully they will start releasing more of this material for the US market as well as I know some of the standard and optional features vary.
