I'm getting about 18.6 right now, but my car only has 2k miles on it. Plus, i rip on it a lot cause i like to hear the exhaust. If i drove it like a grandma all the time, I'm sure i could get close to 21 or 22. Lol

22.1 for me over the last 5000+ miles. Mixed driving and a light foot 80%-90% of the time.

My 335i HATES stoplights. If I can avoid an area with stoplights I can easily average 26 - 28 mpg, even when driving 65 - 70 mph. As soon as I hit an area with stoplights or sit for 5 minutes at a drive-up window at a fast food joint the mpg plummets to the low 20's. This is definitely a "road car" and not optimized for city driving.

15-17mpg isn't out of the question if you're in the city. I'm talking stoplights every 1/8th mile with bumper to bumper traffic.

This is true for every car- except maybe hybrids.

Wow, Looks like the 335is gets crap for miles.

The 335i seems to get much better mileage.

Even though the 335i and 335is have the same engine, but the tune they have for the 335is gives you more power along with using up more gas.

They are not the same engines.. The N55 is more efficient.

If MPG is your main concern buying a twin turbo I-6 probably wasn't the best decision.

Sorry, but I was referencing my 2010 335i which was a N54 block.

25 MPG, 41 MPH

80% highway. I am fairly good at maximizing my momentum and knowing how to get good mileage. I also don't drive agressively.
