If you go with the pro kit....get Koni FSD's. You will not compromise your ride at all...

But yeah..if you go with sports...get yellows. But I guarantee you the ride will be more harsh that OEM ZSP...even on the softest setting (s).

And definately do the install yourself. It's not that difficult.

Race springs are something you should just put out of your mind right now....

If you can be patient....just hang around the suspension for sale section on this forum and look for someone selling yellows or FSD's..whichever you decide. You can get a good deal. Even with a few thousand miles on them...they are still like new. I think discountire.com and tirerack.com have pretty good deals on them. Plus there are a number of vendors on here that offer deals.

Like I said...start searching through the suspension section on here and look through the vendors section (look at their sites).

i def enjoy my ride..not sure what's the road conditions are like in your hood, but i drive mostly on highways...cutting corners is great, handling is great..no complaints here..

i think if you're just an average every driver, and do an occasional spirited driving, then go with the h&r, yellows combo, because the coilovers would be expensive and probably overkill...

i dont recommend race, it's pretty slam and you'll hate it every time u go over speed bumps, potholes and downtowns! lol

Would you be satisfied with having a slight drop yet not sitting flush (still having just a tiny bit of gap)?

Are you ok with the ride being somewhat more stiff than OEM?

tiny bit = ok.

Little more stiff= ok also. Though prefferably the less sacrifice the better.

Next, are you planning on tracking your car or is this purely for looks.

If your not planning on tucking, and going with decent suspension your handling will only get better.... MUCH.

these are good questions...
i have a 1.4 in drop and not completely flush, but flush enough..and about an index finger-wide gap

and the ride is a bit stiffer than OEM sports.

Yeah I'm an average driver, maybe once a month go to the drag strip/ canyon runs...

I would say get the eibach pro kit/Koni FSD's. The drop will be fine for you (it's better on E90's than on 92's) and it will ride BETTER than OEM ZSP. I had this setup first and liked it a lot. I almost wish I would have kept it. But I tried out coilovers (cheap ones and I HATED the ride but it did handle like it was on rails). Now I have what bimmer335i has....H&R sport/Koni yellows and am very happy. While it is a little more stiff..I love the way it rides. And if I want to take a weekend drive and stiffen it up for the corners..I can do so. I keep it mid way for every day driving.

The kit can be purchased together...so the FSD's are considered a great compliment to the eibach pro kit. But they are self dampening. So there is no adjustment.

Yeah eibach sport springs are what I'm leaning torwards right now. sounds like it will be the best fit for me.

If that's the case then you should get yellows. FSD's don't really improve handling over ZSP. They might be a tad more stiff on hard cornering..but probably not noticeable.
