FS:Burger Tuning BMS N54 Cone filter

For sale is the BMS N54 cone filter.

Bought it on a bit of an impulse off here the other day because i wasn't going to renew my BMW extended warranty. However, at the last minute i decided to renew, so I'm selling the intake to keep everything OEM in case i need to make a warranty claim.

It was used for around 7-8k miles and is in good condition (the filter is a K&N unit customised to be plug and play with the N54) - gutted i can't get to experience the awesomeness

It is the same one as here: http://www.burgertuning.com/bmsintake.html and gives the same performance as DCI's, which currently sell for almost £100 delivered from Juiced Up Tuning.

Comes with all fixtures and fittings. Just want what i paid for it, which was £55.

Removing the stock air box and changing to the BMS cone shouldn't take more than 30-45 minutes..why not just stick it on, and if a problem comes up take its off and put the stock box back on?

The long and short of it is that I am starting a new job Monday and will be doing a decent amount of mileage over the next 6 months - and I must get to where I'm going. If my car decides to die at the side of the road in the pouring rain, I need to be able to call up BMW assist and for them to take my car away, fix it with no hassle, and to leave me with a hire car. I won't have time to start taking my car apart at the side of the road. Once the warranty expires next year, I'll be getting a cone filter and JB4 straight away.

Filter is still for sale and will make your N54 BMW sound great! I would have thought this would have gone by now!

Very tempted to say yes and go for it. Can't find though where they are £100 on Juiced Up Tuning?

The DCI's are nearly £100 delivered off Juiced up - and the single cone filter gives identical benefits as DCI's.

If you buy direct from Burger Motor Sport in America, the K&N manufactured single cone filter is actually more expensive than the DCI's. It's still in the same box as i received it from someone else a couple of weeks ago and since i'm starting a new job away from home for a few months on Monday - would like to get it sold by then, hence why it will be going on eBay tomorrow if there is no interest!
