Exactly, They call them Morkie. He's a mix; now considered as a breed.

The father is a Yorkie and the mother is a Maltese.

With the diffuser on the flash, he never blinks; so that makes him a really good model

I like the tongue in focus, but you're probably going to get a few people saying "always focus on the eye"

Nice creamy bokeh and that 50mm is a nice piece.

I agree. But for this one, having the nose and tongue OOF was funny looking and I ended up rejecting it and opting for this one. Its different and definitely will be a keeper for puppy's book.

I grew up with a Pembroke and Cardigan Wonderful dogs. Sadly the Cardigans life was short due to back issues.

My chocolate lab, Snickers, passed away almost a year ago. But here are some pictures to remember him by. He was a one of a kind animal. The sweetest dog you would ever meet. 112 pounds (he was 22 lbs at 8 weeks old...) of muscle, and top of the line pedigree (his father was a champion).

---

But enough with the sad stuff. In the meanwhile, my parents decided to get a new puppy. He is a white lab named Snow. Another beautiful animal. Definitely very different from Snickers. At the moment he is at the dog whisperer (Cesar Milan's apprentice) [my parents decision! haha]

Here are some pics:

She's a little over 2 now. Yeah, great dogs but I hear they tend to have hip and back problems.

we had the Pembroke until she was 14 and she was probably arthritic for about 2 years until we didn't want to see her suffer anymore.

the Cardigan made it to about 6 and we took him for sugary and unfortunatly it didn't work. and he had to be put down

They can have pretty long and great lives, just try not to let her jump around too much as that tends to be a problem starter with their backs. Our Cardigan was extremely playful and would play fetch as long as there was light in the sky *and would try beyond*

That's awesome

Funny you mention jumping because she loves to do it. She jumps around everywhere....we are trying to train her not jump on and off furniture, stairs, etc. because like you said, that is not good for their backs and hips.
