I'm going to buy a box of "Touch of Grey" and test it over the weekend. See if it really works or not. Wear a pair of deck shoes, throw the rolly on my arm, and aviators. That's what old guys wear, right?

Hmm... Never tried Abelour. Might have to pick up a bottle for the weekend. Suspect I'll need it for medicinal purposes as I watch my LSU Tigers get smoked by Ole Miss Saturday evening...

Aberlour CASK STRENGTH. But I really like smoke and peat in my glass. I'm finding it for about $75, but it's usually 120+ proof so a little goes a long way. The cask is smoother than the others.

Just the fact that you are planning retirement in less than a decade.

And the fact you are worried that if you wait the 30 seconds for this post, it might not make it

Try the Laiphroag then. It's like drinking runoff from a barn fire.

I can recommend a smokier scotch if you are truly wishing to experience "runoff from a barn fire" lol.

Ardbeg (try the 10 year old). That's smoke in liquid form.

I'm normally not a fan of them though, I like my speyside scotches, but I have found that after about 8 years of drinking scotch, every once in a blue moon I'll turn to a smoky scotch (normally just a glass when I'm out, rarely buy a whole bottle), just for something different.

Love how the threads morph into each other here. This is becoming the "Best Barrel" thread and the tie thread has become the "Kicks" thread.

When your university is hosting a 50th class reunion for the '64 graduates and you realize you were in kindergarten then. I guess it's good that I'm not as old as them. But still, '64 was 50 years ago? Wow.

When if something happens to you the news can't refer to you as someone in their early 20s but instead someone in their mid 20s! .. Ok fine, I'm not that old

Still better than a year and one month away from 30 and realizing you REALLY need to haul ass in getting your shit together.

If I needed to haul ass, it'd take two trips. Maybe three.

My ass is hanging out, did I leave my zipper down AGAIN?????

Yeah, I like SOME smoke. The Laiphroag I got as a present has been moved to the back of the shelf, maybe even over to the wine side. . .
