LED Headlights retrofit on X6M

Has anyone performed an LED Headlights retrofit on X6M? If you have, please either put up some pictures and description for DIY. I am planning to do this within a month. Any help would be appreciated. Maybe even a link to an existing DIY post. Thanks again.

+1 for this!

I wonder if we do LED upgrade if we will then get auto highbeams?

^^ You need an FLA mirror for auto highbeams, plus coding.

Does anyone know if the auto highbeam feature the FLA mirror provides gives you the cool splitting of the beams feature we've all seen in the cool BMW YouTube video?

I know it turns them on and off but I'm not sure if it'll split the beam left and right from one another if there's on coming traffic.

^^ No, you need to change a bunch of things like country coding on the F series. I'm not even sure the hardware is the same as the E series

Not sure about it. I currently have this option on my 2011 X6M. I agree, it is something that I actually do use at night. Very useful feature. Hopefully I will not lose it with LED retrofit.

Can someone either post some DIY instructions on how to remove headlights on X6M or maybe point to a link with DIY instructions. I've Googled and found practically nothing on proper steps how to remove headlights on X6M

Blue dragon, can you elaborate about this.
I have both the led retrofit and LFA mirror waiting to be installed. I was hoping it would split beams and shut off beams.
