Question Can I replace my E90 330i NAV drive with a 328i NAV Drive with the 1-6 buttons?

Can I replace my E90 330i NAV drive with a 328i NAV Drive with the 1-6 buttons?

I would like to have the shortcuts for the NAV (straight to maps, straight to AUX, straight to CD, straight to FM)

What is necessary to do this? Is it a simple plug and play? Is there coding?

I appreciate your help!

Considering my friend had to have some reprogramming done to put a rear-camera in his X3, I'd think you'd also need some software work to be done to enable the functions of the different iDrive.
