Exclamation Jb4 Install Help!!

I am installing a jb4 and am stuck on getting the ecu connectors to seat properly. I have tried for over an hour and can't get the slider all the way in. Can anyone help me out?

Any help is greatly appreciated

It should go in easily, I'm betting you have a bent pin in there somewhere.

Push down firmly on the plug as your are trying to push in the slider. I just did another install this weekend. I had to push down on the plug pretty hard.

I can never get the sliders back in because the white ecu box blocks them, the small one I can sort of get in but the large one I got no chance. Any tricks to getting them in? I know you can't just install the connectors with the sliders already in (at least I think)

You have the right ones in the right seats? I had a similar issue and had one of the small connectors swapped around on accident.

If it's all in the right seats then it all slides in nice and smooth.

Make sure the connectors are matching, that was the same issue I ran into and once I realized they weren't matching I swamped them which caused them to go in EASILY

with the large connecter its easier if you pull the ecu out a couple inches so you can have the slider all the way out as you seat it.

+1. You have to have the ECU pulled up out of the box a bit to get it started or else the slider will be blocked.

Make sure you are matching up connector colors, not wires.
