Hey, that's a new road game to play. Family is tired of PT Cruisers since I'm more observant, even when a driver has been designated.

I'm still kicking myself for not getting the E93... It was only $2,000 more.

If I turn the car on in the morning, roll it out, and see a temperature reading of anything over 50 degrees before I make it down to the end of the street, the top goes down.

Top down, all day, every day if possible.

I don't understand why people with convertibles don't put the top down when it's perfect weather. What's the point of having a convertible if you don't put the top down?

For me, perhaps I wouldn't want to mess up my hair sometimes.

That's the same thing I always wondered... I used to date a girl with a Mits Spyder and loved driving it.

Convertibles are addictive...once you have one, it's hard when/if you ever have to be without it...

My top down limit is 47° F. After that - it's too cold on the neck.

I took it yesterday morning, 52° F - I was the only one with it down. Way home was 76°, plenty more out there.

BTW, I can't stand the losers that drive top down, windows up. It's like wearing a raincoat in the shower.

Haha, well there is the odd time when my hair needs to look professional and not wind blown like crazy. Then I have to keep the roof closed and I feel claustrophobic. But yeah, that's probably why I don't have an office job, hahaha!

I hate driving with the top up! Unless it's raining top is always down. And I leave it down in the garage.

It would be interesting if you listed in your count how many with tops down had their windows up. These are the "new breed" of convertible owners that should just have big sunroofs because they don't appreciate wind whipping and all of the other sensations that go with top down fun.

This summer, my E93 was top down most of the time. When it rains, I just put it inside the garage and drive other vehicles.

Glad that I got the E93

Hey sometimes it is called for. I used to go for night drives in the canyons with the top down and windows up, heat blasting. It was epic. Would do again.

+1 - nothing like a drive on a cool fall night in the Great Smoky Mtns with the heat on full blast...

I drove home Thursday and played this game. I'd forgotten about it though. It was a BEAUTIFUL Fall day in SoCal, 85-90, and every SINGLE vert I saw on the 12 miles home had the top UP!!! I only saw the one in the whole stretch, just couldn't understand that.

I actually kind of regret ordering the e93 335is instead of the e92. Primary reason being that my car will be sort of a piece of crap in 5-10 years when the roof goes kaput. My 2007 e93's roof starting rattling horribly around 80,000 miles. The big problem is the indies aren't knowledgeable about these components yet, and my SA I've known for years and trust, told me it would several thousands to diagnose and take the thing apart. These hard tops look good, but they are not meant to last. If I had bought the E92 335is, I could have held on to that thing for over a decade and not worry about it as much.
